Kids Ink Blot Prints ~ Art Contest

I wanna see your kids getting crafty. Try out this fun tutorial from Parents.com for a series of simple folded Rorschach paintings that are festive and fun for little ones to make. Document your kids making this project with your camera or camera phone, and submit a photo of your child holding their favorite version of the completed work of art, to be featured on this website. Submit photo to paula@biancaportraits.com with the child’s name and age by Dec 31st 2011! One winner will be chosen and will receive a $25 giftcard at JoAnn’s for a mini art project shopping spree.

As a photographic artist myself, I am a supporter of the arts in our children who will shape the art future. What you’ll need: Medium-weight art paper, small paintbrushes (optional), tempera paints, colored cardstock for backing, picture frame

Make it: Fold paper in half and generously drizzle or dab paint onto one side of the paper fold. Fold the other side of the paper onto the painted side and press down. Open to reveal design and let dry flat. Mount print onto colored cardstock and frame.

New Business Card Designs

I just had these designed by Doru Bere, who is a branding consultant and graphic designer. We went for a elegant whimsical retro style which captures the essence of my photography. Doru takes the time to really know you and understand what you represent… what makes you unique as an individual and as a professional.
