I got to visit the Central Valley of California this Christmas when I visited my husband Jay’s family. His family owns a large property in the country with orchards of plums and grapes, as well as an area bordering the riverfront. We helped watch little Allygan and River, and frolicked through the fields and dirt roads with the family dogs right at our heels. It was a child’s paradise!

White. White is pure, soft, and luminous. White is often an artists best friend, because with white comes light. White represents truth, hope, and simple beauty. In light we see things as they are. In light we can be ourselves.
Black. Black represents depth, mystery, security. It gives a sense of age and time. Black grounds us.

An open window revives the soul as the breath of heaven washes over our dusty hearts. It is a reminder that there is more beauty beyond the place we are comfortable with. May purity, hope, & love sweep into the dark corners of our hearts. May God continue to draw us out and beyond where we exist today. May we never lose the wonder of the possibilities in God.
Brand new city to explore. So much to see and do and taste. Just me and my camera, adventuring we go.
Oh the fire of sunset. You take my breath away. You are an extraordinary display of God’s beauty, and a daily reminder of how small and fragile I am. May we never lose the eyes to see the little pockets of joy God leaves behind for us to discover each day. This is an example of God playing with His creation.
